Strength: Leo’s Ruling Card

Leo’s ruling card is Strength, the Major Arcana trump assigned to the sign in the Golden Dawn system, and the lion on the card is the giveaway. Strength shows a woman calmly closing a lion’s jaws with her bare hands, and there is no struggle in the scene. That image is Leo’s core lesson drawn out in full: the sign runs on fixed fire, a warmth that holds steady under pressure, and the card insists that real power looks quiet. The pride, appetite, and dramatic instinct that come standard with Leo are the lion. The card never asks you to kill or cage any of it.
